Corrections log.

When we publish something wrong, we correct it quickly, and we log it here — permanently. A corrections page that stays empty forever isn't a badge of accuracy; it's a sign nobody's checking.

Policy effective 2026-07-28

What we correct

Material errors — the wrong company, wrong figures, a misattributed claim, a misdated event, a mischaracterised deal — are corrected in the item itself and logged below with the date and what changed. The original error is described in the log; we do not quietly overwrite it and move on.

Minor fixes — typos, broken links, formatting — are made without a log entry, because logging them would bury the corrections that matter.

Errors in a source we cited are a special case. If the publisher we cited was wrong, we correct our item and say which publisher's reporting the error came from. We do not hide behind attribution: repeating an error is still publishing it.

How a correction is marked

How to report an error

Use the report form — it goes straight to the editors and you do not need to leave your name or email. If you'd rather write to us, use [email protected].

An editor reviews every report. We aim to acknowledge reports that include contact details within two business days, and to resolve them — correct, decline with a reason, or explain what we're still checking — within five. Reports about a live factual error jump that queue.

Right of reply

If you are a company we've covered and you believe an item is inaccurate, tell us what is wrong and what the correct position is, and point us to something we can verify it against. We will correct a genuine error regardless of who reports it.

We will not remove accurate, sourced coverage because it is unwelcome, and we do not take payment to alter or withdraw an item. A disagreement about characterisation, where the underlying facts hold, may be answered with an added statement of your position rather than a correction.
